Had a decent stay overall. The place was clean, but the room felt a bit worn, like an old motel. Staff were super nice, though! Just wish I hadn't ended up with a room that was pricier than expected due to the mix-up.

Try to request a room away from the road for a quieter experience, as some areas can be noisy.

A surprisingly good stay during tough times
Due to hurricane Milton, we had to make last-minute reservations, but this place was a great find for the price. The staff were understanding and accommodating, even allowing us to extend our stay effortlessly. While the room itself had an oddly old smell and could use a bit more attention to detail in cleanliness, the overall experience was surprisingly smooth. We would definitely consider returning next time we visit the area.

Charming staff in a dated setting
The friendliness of the staff. They were always eager to help, providing us with recommendations for nearby activities. The location is also ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, with beautiful trails just a short drive away.

The hotel was like an old motel that was slightly cleaned, but still had a funky smell. I also was shocked that a frog was allowed in my first room! After that tiny hiccup, I expected an upgrade or at least a complimentary snack for my troubles, but no, nothing. I almost thought about complimenting, but just couldn't.

Couple looking for decent stay
We came up because of hurricane Milton and our reservations got mixed up where we were staying. But the staff is friendly and very understanding, which really made a difference in the stress of the situation.
It wasn't exactly cheap,, but still acceptable for the experience we had.
